What is a flash tattoo?
Flash is pre-drawn artwork, designed by our artists and ready to be tattooed. You pick a design off the sheet, we tell you the price on the spot, and if there is a chair free you can walk out with it the same day.
The tradition goes back to the earliest street shops, where sheets of painted designs hung on the walls so a customer could point at what they wanted. It is still the fastest, cheapest and most honest way to get a genuinely good tattoo — the drawing is already done, and it was drawn by someone who knows how it will age.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Flash is the walk-in service — that is what it is for. Come in, look at what is on the wall, and if an artist is free you get tattooed.
Weekends are the busiest, and a Saturday afternoon can mean a wait. Call ahead and we will tell you honestly what the queue looks like. If you would rather not gamble, book the flash piece in like any other appointment and the chair is yours.
Can I change a flash design?
Small changes, usually yes — size, placement, sometimes colour. The artist who drew it will tell you what the design can take without falling apart.
Bigger changes turn it into a custom piece, which is a different service with a different price and a consultation first. There is no hard line here; ask, and the artist will tell you which side of it your idea sits on.
How much does flash cost?
Each design carries its own price, set by the artist who drew it and by how long it takes to put on. Flash is generally the most affordable work in the studio because the drawing time is already spent.
You get the exact number before anything starts. No surprises at the counter — you point at the design, we tell you the price, you decide.
Is flash a good first tattoo?
It is the best first tattoo most people can get. The design is already resolved, the artist has drawn it knowing how bold lines and solid colour hold up over decades, and the sitting is usually short enough that you learn what being tattooed feels like without committing to a five-hour session.
Bring photo ID — you must be 18 or over, no exceptions — eat properly beforehand, and wear something that gives easy access to the spot you want tattooed.
